Lauren and Dylan got married at the Barn at McCall Springs and I was lucky enough to do video for their big day! I have shot here for photo and video and it is a great venue for an all in one experience. This venue was actually my very first wedding in 2018 for photo and I was a second shooter.
The Barn at McCall Springs has a view of a pond with a fountain, a covered outdoor ceremony area, a bridal house, and a reception building. Their website says they have 60 acres of farmland, and green pasture. This venue holds up to 250 people and also has a large outdoor patio for your bar or dance floor depending on the weather!
The bridal house has great lighting and huge mirrors for getting ready, making it one less location for you to travel to day of. The house also has a separate area for your partner and more of the bridal party to get ready in. It also has a ton of parking in a gravel lot, making it easy for your guests and vendors to get out.
Barn at McCall springs also has heating and Air Conditioning for summer/winter months! Huge plus. This is great in the middle of photos, run outside for 15 minutes, go back inside to cool off for 5, and so on! (or the opposite for those colder months!)
The ceremony area is a gorgeous covered area overlooking a pond with a fountain in the middle of it. So you can get married outside rain or shine! It also makes a wonderful backdrop for your ceremony, family photos and portraits! The covered area has lights strung through out the beams and are turned on at night, making for an entirely separate area for guests to hangout during your reception. It is a beautiful area day or night and is a major plus of this venue.
You can rent this venue for Thursday-Sunday or just for one day. If you’re looking for a rehearsal dinner spot this could be helpful for you! Set up times are 9:00am on your first day and 9:00am clean up on the second day.
You get to pick all your vendors separately for this venue! That being said you can customize it to whatever and whoever you want! Please reach out to me if you want a list of vendors that I have loved working with! Every vendor has a different approach and view, so make sure you do your research before you book! If you’re a DIY master, this venue allows you to do a lot yourself – and does not need a ton of decor to be beautiful.
